Moose on the Loose!

I came up on this guy on the way home from church today. From a distance I thought he might be on his way home from the taxidermist...turns out it was a moose statue.

Mirror Magic

I took the boys for their flu vaccinations today. That better be the only scenario where I see them snorting pharmaceuticals together!

While we waited, they entertained themselves with the mirrors in the lobby.

The thought of three Kellen's makes me very tired.

Sunday School

Kellen was super pumped last week at his chance to enter into Sunday School for the first time. As we sat at the kickoff meeting for some singing and instructions he kept asking me, "When is Sunday School going to start?"

At the close of the pre-service class I met him at his classroom and asked how it went. "I GOT A DONUT!" was his only reply. His powdery white mustache was a dead giveaway. I guess that's the angle with the little ones. Feed them physically to get them excited about coming back and feed them spiritually along the way.

He drew the picture below during the in-service class and identified only the squares to me. The rest must be an abstract representation of complicated Biblical themes.

Time Killers

We've put our house on the market in an attempt to move closer to Aidan's school. This process has reminded me of how much fun it is to live in your house like you don't live in your house. Living neat and tidy with three kids is tricky!

I swapped out two bathroom light fixtures without having to alert the fire department (watch your back Bob Vila!) and we've managed to hide our clutter in secret locations throughout the county.

Several visitors have passed through displacing us for an hour or two at a time. The first day the three boys and I hit McDonald's for pancakes and the Play Place in the morning and Culver's for dinner and ice cream. If the meal hours become too popular for showings I may not be able to get in and out of whatever house I find myself living in.

Last week while Aidan was in school we had to disappear for awhile. We decided to kill some time in the toy aisles at the local Target.
