I've told Kellen when Logan attacks he needs to resist the urge to fight back. That's when I hear "Dad!"...and grab the camera to document what I find.

That Won't Work
We've decided a lot of the painting can wait but when the two rooms the three boys will share look like this...

...there is a little work to be done before we start moving in bunk beds and cribs.
Aidan insists that one room needs to be navy blue and orange with a big "C" on the wall. I have no idea where he gets these ideas.
Dad's New Backyard
This view has me thinking about fertilizer and my lawnmower.
And this one has me thinking about my grill. I can almost smell it.
The Boys' New Backyard
What's been the biggest challenge of apartment living? There's no place for the boys to release all their energy. So even though we're not yet living in the new place we're loving the backyard. Plenty of room to roam and run...and a playset left behind by the previous owners that is sure to see plenty of action this summer.
Swings, a slide, a sandbox, monkey bars, a climbing wall and a fence keeping them all close enough together that I don't have to panic when they start running in opposite directions.
Almost Home
We've owned the place for a week...and hope to be living in it three weekends from now. Busy schedules and a few pre-move projects have us living in the close quarters of the apartment for a little longer.
Once the appliances are in, the carpets are cleaned and the right time for moving all of our stuff arrives we will be happy to call it home sweet home.
An Egg-citing Weekend
Last weekend, while their dad was out celebrating with his college buddies, the boys got a visit from Grammie and Papa D. They visited Aidan's school for Grandparents Day and hung out around the apartment playing and decorating Easter eggs.

Wet N' Wild
Logan was playing quietly in the kitchen today...too quietly. Then he walked out looking like this. He managed to turn the kitchen floor into a water park with the liquid in his sippy cup.
Train Hockey
Kellen created this hockey playing train using the magnets on the toy and Rachel's hair accessories.
Captain Curly
Logan's hair gets really curly right after bath time, when he runs around and gets hot, when the weather is warm...pretty much any time he's breathing.

VIDEOS: Spring Breaks!
The boys had a blast playing in Uncle Ryan's back yard today. Temperatures where in the neighborhood of 80 degrees and they did everything from kickball to swinging the golf clubs.

Found this video on Rachel's phone. It's Aidan from his class field trip to the roller rink. Our new place has a completely unfinished basement so he's thinking he's got a great place to master his skating skills.
