VIDEO: Off His Rocker

Big 'N' Frosty

This neighborhood snowman is very impressive...the quality of my phone camera, not so much.

Dr. Teeth

Kellen made his first official dentist visit this week donning the shades and getting his teeth spinning toothbrush clean. The hygienist let him ride the chair the last time Aidan was in to warm him up to the idea and he scored a new toothbrush and toothpaste after playing video games in the waiting room.

Keebler Peaker

I neglected to post this previously. It's a picture of Aidan peaking through a hole in a geocaching hiding spot as I snap a photo from another hole lower down the trunk.

VIDEO: Walkabout

Logan's been doing this for a couple weeks now...

I filmed him yesterday and of course he seems twice as stable and is walking twice as far today.

Random Memory 9

It came up again over Christmas. A story of distraction and dinner left to cook a lot too long. Twas the night that mom Cosby'd a grilled cheese sandwich.

The story likely ended with a "mom, is my sandwich ready?" and a moment of panic. It's not like the house almost burned down with something left on the stove (that's a different story) but it was memorable nonetheless. It began with a slice of cheese and two buttered pieces of bread simmering on the stove. In the middle (not the cheesy middle of the sandwich) was the Cosby Show.

Mom had let the stove and was distracted by Bill Cosby and his wonderful fictional family. When she returned, the top half of the grilled cheese was charred...and she hadn't even flipped it yet. The briquette of a meal was inedible, the memory hilarious. Twas the night that mom burned straight through a grilled cheese.

Why Buy Toys?

PJ Party

Last night we popped some popcorn and watched Toy Story 3 in our PJs. We then realized Aidan was determined to stay up later than he ever had before as he checked the clock every five minutes to gauge his progress. We let the two big boys stay up to see the ball drop in Times Square and then whisked them off to bed. Aidan's new personal best stands at 11:15.

Happy New Year!
