List Boy

Aidan is suddenly a man of many lists. You may recall his earlier list detailing the things he wanted to accomplish this summer. He has since added several more.

When Aidan is asking for things from the store or items he's spotted on commercials I tell him to put it on his Christmas list, even if it's June. So in the middle of June he drafted an early copy of his 2010 Christmas list.

The list seemed a little video game heavy so I encouraged him to add items from other categories. He opted for a 3DTV, one of those faucets that turn off and on when you touch it and the fancy refrigerator with the ice cream cake drawer in the middle.

Aidan got tired of asking me when things happened during the day (or was it the other way around?) and decided to put his own schedule of times together. His school start and end times were on the back of the list.

One day he saddled up next to me on the couch with a snack. I reminded him that he should always ask before raiding the cupboards. He informed me that his list said it was time. Fair enough.

NOTE: Kellen's nap time is included so he knows when he can do super fun covert things while his brother is sleeping.

This past weekend Aidan also put together a list of months and "what's on that month". I'm pretty sure this was primarily a Christmas tracker in the beginning but it now includes seven other holidays.
