Memorial Day has passed and the 4th of July is not yet here but my travelling buddies remain very patriotic. When Aidan was a younger, he started noticing our country’s flag and referred to it as “The Night Time Flag” (see STARS and stripes). He liked to spot them while driving and became even more enthusiastic about it after we watched the Olympics last summer and he linked the flag to our favorite country.
Like everything else his big brother does, Kellen has taken to the Where’s Old Glory game too. Aidan may tire of the game on a long trip but Kellen’s energy level is steady throughout. He’ll spot every one from home to the grocery store or all the way from
We’ve even got one visible at all times from our dining room window so as the weather warms and the windows come open he can run over and catch a glimpse of his favorite flag at all hours of the day.
