Lahaina

Just down the coast from our resort was the town of Lahaina.  Lahaina was once the capitol of the islands and is an historical little township.  

This giant banyan tree sits right in the middle of a central square and literally stretches out to cover the entire city block.

I was also quick to make some new friends in Lahaina including the tipsy captain at the Pioneer Inn.
