Aidan was excited about his first ride on the water on the way to the water, nervous when we got to the water and (as you can see from the video) left wanting more after buzzing around the lake with our friend Bob.
The pictures below are from various points in our little outing to the lake. We ate at Lord Fletcher's which is a hot spot on Lake Minnetonka. The spot is a little hotter on weekend late nights but was very family friendly on an early Thursday evening.
Kellen loved the ducks and stealing Bob's french fries. We felt it best to keep him off the boat though he was fearlessly running to the water from the docking area. Aidan will undoubtedly be begging to go back as soon as he wakes up in the morning. We'll be working to acquire a more 30-pound-four-year-old friendly life vest before we make a big day of it.
Our only complaint is that we got such a late start on the boating season.
